How to use
- Enter the email address that should receive the message.
- Optionally add a subject and a message.
- Check the address shown above the preview.
- Download the QR code as PNG or SVG and test it with a phone.
Supported input and limits
- One email address per code.
- Subject up to 200 characters and message up to 1000 characters.
- Longer messages create denser codes that are harder to scan.
- The code opens the default email app on the phone. The person still has to press send.
- Optional logo: you can place your own logo in the center of the QR code. Logos can be PNG, JPG or WebP files up to 2 MB. When a logo is added, error correction is set to High automatically and the logo size can be set between 10 and 25 percent of the code.
Privacy
- The QR code is generated in your browser from the details you enter.
- Anyone who scans the code can see the address, subject and message stored in it.
- If you add a logo, it is also used only in your browser.
Troubleshooting
- If nothing happens after scanning, check that the phone has an email app set up.
- If the code does not scan, increase the size or raise the error correction level.
- Keep the message short for the most reliable scanning.
- If a code with a logo does not scan, make the logo smaller or remove it, then test the code again with a phone.
